We accept most insurances.

In addition, we offer an Enhanced Care Program for those patients who desire to avail of services that are not otherwise covered by insurance. These services include:

• An annual comprehensive integrative/ holistic health assessment
• Enhanced appointment availability (usually the same business day but no later than the next business day)
• Increased time with the physician (you may request how much time you would like to spend with the physician at the time of scheduling)
• Email communication with the physician
• After hours phone and text communication with physician (with reasonable exceptions such as limited reception and coverage, dead battery, physician away on vacation etc)
• Oversight of care if you require hospitalization to Palomar Medical Center Escondido or Poway

As part of our commitment to you and your health, we will make every effort to respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails you may send with questions or concerns, generally on the same day or within 24 hours. 

This is a completely voluntary program for a period of 12 months beginning on the date of the agreement. The retainer fee for these enhanced services are:

Individual  $125 per month

The patient may elect to pay the retainer fee, quarterly, or on an annual basis in advance of each payment period. The Practice will offer a 10% family discount when more than one individual living in the same household is enrolled in the Program. A Health Savings Plan (HSA and FSA) can be used to pay the retainer fee. More details can be provided upon request.

Initial consultations for either Integrative medicine, Internal medicine or Palliative care medicine are 90 minutes in duration, and include a full review of your medical history, a nutrition and lifestyle evaluation, medication and supplements review, and a written report of all recommendations which is emailed to you after the session.

Payment is due in full at time of service. Cash, Venmo, check, credit, and debit cards are acceptable forms of payment.
